CAMSHAFT & VALVETRAIN COMPONENTS

SC-8 provides various services ranging from design to custom manufacturing of camshafts and valve train components,  working exclusively to develop engines for competitions; starting from the rarest vintage engines up to the most modern competition engines.

We design and manufacture custom billet cams for any engine model, both automotive and motorcycle; for naturally aspirated and supercharged engines.

Depending on the type of use of the engine, we design custom profiles to optimize the best power delivery and shape the characteristics  curve of the engine.

Unlike other manufacturers, we can also produce individual and small batches of production; in addition to providing the finished product, we can perform the following services separately:

-analysis and simulations for cams and valvetrain components
-study and design of camshaft and Cam lobe profiles
-3D/2D drawings, reverse engineering
-dimensional check of camshaft profiles 
-camshaft & valvetrain testing
-manufacture of camshafts and coating
-assembly, cam tuning and custom timing

Together with the custom-made camshafts, we also supply all the components that make up the distribution; designing and constructing ad hoc every single detail.

Each part of the system is thought and built  according to the type of cam to be used, designed to optimize friction losses and tested to withstand the most severe conditions, typical of racing engines.
